Now we were Juniors and thought ourselves rather advanced in our education. But we were kept on track by Mrs. Geneva Helm, who had been our home room teacher since 7th Grade. Our core subjects that year were

Mrs. Ruth Carpenter, Mrs. Helen Carpenter, Mrs. Geneva Helm, Mr. Chuck Lynch, Mrs. Helen RaymerIn IIn addition to our classes we were still engaged in extracurricular activities such as football or basketball, band or chorus, or organizations such as the National Honor Society, the Future Homemakers of America, and Allied Youth. Our junior class also presented a play, "Maudie and the Opposite Sex," on November 16, 1956. A copy of the program is included below. The play was directed by Mr. Tom Newberry, with considerable assistance from Mrs. Alene Felts in stage scenery paintings and construction.
