Our Third Grade teachers were Miss Jenny Casebier and Miss Ruth Moore. Miss Moore had also taught First Grade. Miss Casebier first introduced us to cursive writing, and was the only truly ambidextrous teacher we ever had. She could stand at the blackboard, pick up chalk with her left hand, write out the first half of a statement and continue the second half with her right hand. There seemed to be no difference in the style of either left or right hand writing!

Our subjects were continuations of basics begun in the First Grade.
